BBNL has grown to become a dependable transportation resource for the safe and efficient movement of people, oil and gas personnel and heavy equipment connecting communities and supporting operational activities of oil and gas operators in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. The company acquired its first 120MT pontoon vessel in 1996 with funding assistance from the International Finance Corporation (IFC). The company has since acquired more vessel assets to meet the growing demand for marine transport services from its clients.
We design, build and operate docks, terminals and other waterway infrastructure throughout the inland waterways from both land and from the water. This includes dry bulk terminals, jetties, cellular structures, floating docks and more. In each case we will work with our clients to provide a solution for their individual operational requirements. As a marine contractor and operator, we know what an efficient dock operation should look like and work with our clients and their engineers to optimize the structure to meet their needs.
Our prefabricated modular bridging systems are suited for long-spanning temporary or permanent applications on main highways and remote deltas. It uses standardized, interchangeable steel components with full highway loading capability to provide a permanent lightweight, steel bridging solution which can be configured for clear spans of up to 100 meters. The versatility and robustness of our designs make it easy for the systems to be assembled and dismantled, making it equally suited to long-term temporary bridge applications. BBNL can supply a solution to suit client requirements and we are able to accommodate any special load requirements as well as site specific topography, extreme temperatures and seismic requirements.
